The Dolphin Gas Project, one of the largest trans-border energy projects in the Middle East, has awarded a contract to ESR Technology to supply a broad range of safety and risk management services, announced on March 3rd. ESR is one of the leading engineering, safety and risk management consultancies.
Today Dolphin Energy delivers 2 billion standard cubic feet of natural gas per day from Qatar's North Field reserves to meet the growing energy needs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman. The gas is extracted via two offshore wellhead platforms and then transported to the gas treatment and compression plants at Ras Laffan via sub-sea pipelines, prior to onward transmission to the UAE and Oman.
Under the call-off agreement, ESR Technology will provide a broad range of key safety and risk management consultancy services to meet the needs of the Project. The scope of the agreement covers the provision of:
