Asry has been shortlisted for two awards at the Seatrade Maritime Awards for Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa to be held in Dubai on October 19.
The nominations are in the ship repair innovation category for the initiative called “Project Jupiter”, which aims to make Asry the regional leader in onsite specialist contractors; and in the corporate social responsibility (CSR) category for its community-benefitting events, facilities, and donations.
Asry chief executive Nils Kristian Berge said that in the current challenging market climate, providing added value is what differentiated the company.
“It’s very encouraging that the efforts we are making, such as our innovative projects and our CSR activities, are drawing recognition in the form of these nominations,” he added.
“Customer satisfaction is more than just financial, and we will continue to add value to our clients’ projects.”
The Seatrade Maritime Awards reward excellence and innovation in the maritime sector across the region annually.
