Bahri Participates in Break-bulk Middle East Conference & Exhibition

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming BreakBulk Middle East Exhibition & Conference as a SILVER Sponsor. This event will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC Hall 6) in Abu Dhabi, UAE on 27-28 October 2015. This exhibition will showcase the upcoming major projects initiatives in the region along with a multitude of service providers working together in these ventures.


Bahri CEO, Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar highlighted  that this participation is within the framework of the company to sustain its leading position among the world's largest shipping companies since  this opportunity serves as a platform to  learn about the latest industry trends, initiatives and to discuss various other issues related to the transportation of general cargo sector, including best business practices,  opportunities and future potential and projects for the sector, in addition to investments in ports & marine services infrastructure and the extent of its impact on the economy of the countries in the region during the coming years


Bahri recently announced that the company achieved its highest historical profits, an amount exceeding 1.2 billion Saudi Riyal during the three quarters of the year 2015.  Bahri is a key player as an international marine transportation and logistics service provider, owning a fleet of 74 vessels and the mix includes VLCCs, Aframax tanker, Chemical tankers, General Cargo ships, and Dry-bulk ships.  Additional 10 VLCCs are on order which are likely to join the existing fleet during 2017/2018.
