Date : Feb 11, 2016

Pakistan’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources has decided to schedule a high level delegation visit to Iran to discuss Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline project.

A senior Pakistani official announced that the visit was decided after receiving a letter from the Iranian ministry to come up with a comprehensive strategy for initiating the mega project as soon as possible, source reported.

“The IP gas pipeline project has been delayed due to international sanctions on Iran,” the official said. He said that in first phase, the government will start work on the 80 km Gwadar Link project.
