Oman Refinery Output Crosses 70mn Barrels in Oct

Production at refineries and petroleum industry companies in the sultanate reached 70.7mn barrels by the end of October this year, with a 2.6 per cent increase over the same period of last year, when output stood at 68.93mn, according to statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).


Daily production at the Mina al Fahal and Sohar refineries of Orpic reached 222,000 barrels of crude oil converted to naphtha, polypropylene, liquefied petroleum gas, petrol, diesel, fuel oil, jet fuel and residue production.
