According to the report, the 6th refinery of the South Pars Gas Complex exported 10 million barrels of gas condensate in the first 7 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20.
Director of the facility Mehran Douj told that the refinery received 9.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas as feedstock from phases 15 and 16 of the South Pars gas field, source reported.
He said the refinery’s feedstock rose by 27% from the same period last year.
Douj said 8.3 bcm of the gas was processed for domestic consumption, 36% up year-on-year.
The refinery has also produced 162,000 tons of ethane in the 7 months, showing a 5-time from the year-ago figures, the official added.
The plant can process 50 MMcm of sweet gas, 78,000 barrels of gas condensate, 2,400 tons of ethane and 400 tons of sulfur on a daily basis.
