NIGC Ready to Offer Gas Experiences to Iraq, Afghanistan

Managing Director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Hamidreza Araqi voiced his company’s readiness to transfer its gas experiences to neighboring countries like Afghanistan and Iraq.

 

Speaking in a meeting with visiting Iraqi Deputy Oil Minister Hamid Younis in Tehran on Tuesday, Araqi said Iran is ready to offer some of its capabilities in gas industry to neighboring countries like Iraq, Iran’s source reported.

 

He said Iran enjoys the largest natural gas reserves and the best operational standards in gas industry and it can share them with Iraq.

 

Iran can also cooperate with Iraq in training, designing, execution, transfer pipelines, construction of networks and pressure booster stations, Araqi said.
