Iran's NPC Signs Deal with Air Liquide for Methane-to-Propane License Acquisition

Iran's National Petrochemical Company (NPC) has signed a deal with Air Liquide S.A. of France for obtaining methane-to-propane process licence.

 

Signed by Helmut Maschke, vice president, Air Liquide, and Esmaeil Ghanbari, managing director, Petrochemical Research and Technology Company, the deal also involves basic engineering of a 500,000 tons methane-to-propane plant.

 

The deal was signed in a ceremony that was attended by Marziyeh Shahdaei, managing director, NPC, and senior Air Liquide executives.

 

Air Liquide supplies industrial gases and services to various industries including medical, chemical and electronic manufacturers.
