Qatar Will Generate Another $17bn by 2030 with Circular Economy Implementation

With the successful implementation of a circular economy, Qatar will generate an additional $ 17 billion by 2030, corresponding to 10% of its GDP, as well as create around 9,000-19,000 jobs by 2030, increase income and attract more foreign direct investment (FDI), according to the Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (IPA Qatar).

In its recently published circular economy paper, IPA Qatar highlighted that the world is geared towards sustainable investment, and a circular model helps countries like Qatar achieve a balance between economic growth and environmental protection.

Sustainable development is becoming a determining factor in the promotion of IPA Qatar's industry and FDI-targeted strategies around the world.
