GAIL India to Invest Rs 6,000cr in Renewable Energy in Next 3 Years

GAIL India is likely to invest Rs 6,000 crore in renewable energy in the next three years.

 

The company has outlined an overall capital expenditure plan of up to Rs 40,000 crore in the next five years.

 

An additional Rs 20,000 crore is likely to be invested by 2030, which will come from borrowings, while the balance through internal accruals.

 

GAIL is looking at 3 GW of renewable capacity by 2030, which will include 1 GW to start within the next three years.
