Suzlon Energy Wins 100.8 MW Contract from Mahindra Susten

Renewables solutions provider Suzlon Energy has secured 100.8 MW order from Mahindra Susten, the clean-teach arm of the Mahindra Group.

The company will install 48 units of S120-140 mtr. wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a hybrid lattice tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each in Maharashtra for Mahindra. In this contract, the company will be responsible for supplying, installation, and commissioning of the project.

Additionally, it will also undertake post-commissioning operation and maintenance (O&M) services. Further, electricity generated from the project will be supplied to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers in Maharashtra.

Earlier, the company had won a similar 100.8 MW order from a leading Nordic Energy Company to install 32 WTGs with a HLT tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.

Suzlon seeks to create many landmarks for independent power producer (IPP) renewable energy projects with a focus to increase adoption of renewable energy in the country.
