Transformers and Rectifiers Wins Contract Worth Rs 219cr from PGCIL

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) has secured an order worth Rs 219 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), and this is the second order it has received from PGCIL. On 19 December, 2023, the company won a contract from Power Grid worth Rs 237 crore.

 

In addition, the firm also received an order worth Rs 118 crore from the Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation (UPPTCL). Under the latest contract, the company will be responsible for designing, engineering, production and testing and supplying of 13 nos of 110 MVAR.

 

These services will also be carried out for 765kV, 1-Phase reactors, 2 nos of 125 MVAR 420 kV, 3-Phase reactor, 6 nos of 110 MVAR 765 kV, 1-Phase reactors along with all fitting, accessories for complete execution and local transportation. Besides, this also includes in transit insurance, loading and installation.

 

The company has set a time period of 15 months for the completion of the entire contract from the date of issue of notification of award (NoA).
