Adani to Develop 20 GW Hybrid Power Park at Khavda in Gujarat

The Adani Group will develop the world’s largest hybrid power park in Khavda, Gujarat, to spearhead its plans for attaining 45 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. The park will have the capacity to generate 20 GW of green energy.

 

The park will come up over 72,000 acres and will enable generation of 20 GW of green energy. The project will be executed through Adani Green Energy (AGEL), which is the renewable energy arm of the Group. Moreover, slated to be a complex project, the largest hybrid renewable park in the world is set for faster execution.

 

The Group’s operational renewable energy portfolio is over 8 GW, with a continued focus on producing the green electron at scale and in the most economical way.

 

Meanwhile, showcasing the company's progression in new businesses, both Navi Mumbai Airport and copper smelter complex projects are on track. Additionally, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) is set for commissioning India’s largest transshipment hub in Vizhinjam, Kerala, in a span of 12 to 24 months.
