Waaree Renewable Commissions Solar Power Project in Khandwa, MP

Waaree Renewable Technology (WRTL) has commissioned a 122.5 MW solar power project of Masaya Solar Energy (MSEPL), a subsidiary of UPC Renewable Energy in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.

With the completion of this project, the solar plant is expected to produce 349 MU of electricity annually, reducing CO2 emissions by 3,73,422 tonne.

Along with providing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions, WRTL will also carry out the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the plant for two years. Subsequently, the solar plant will connect to the grid, enabling the project to fulfil the annual electricity demand of about 2,78,000 homes for clean and sustainable energy.

Moreover, it is the first time WRTL has undertaken an inter-state transmission system (ISTS) connectivity project with UPC Renewables.
