Event held to mark Success of Pilot Mobile Stations to Treat Oil Field Water

Under the patronage and in the presence of DCEO (Gas & Innovation) Bader Al-Munaifi, and DCEO (S&EK) Eisa Al-Maraghi, a celebration was held after the success of the project to operate the pilot mobile stations. These stations treat oil field water attached to Gathering Centers 7 and 8 in S&EK fields.

 

The ceremony was attended by Manager Operations Support Group (S&EK) Bader Mahmoud, Manager Innovation & Technology Group Hamad Al Zaabi, and Ag. Manager Fields Development Group (S&EK) Saud Al-Haddad, alongside concerned Team Leaders participating in the success of the operation of the stations, and an SLB representative, which is the executing contractor for the stations.

 

The project was implemented under the directives of Manager Innovation & Technology Group and the supervision of Senior Specialist Emad Al-Muhaimeed, and Senior Engineer Saja Al-Mas.

 

In his speech at the event, Al-Munaifi stressed that the success of these stations would not have been possible without the team spirit and integrated work of all concerned Teams, adding that this experience should supply a future roadmap for applying best practices and technologies in the field of oil field water treatment.

 

For his part, Al-Maraghi stressed in a similar speech that oil field water management is one of the challenges facing KOC's daily operations, which require concerted efforts to overcome, highlighting that developing the human element is one of the KOC's Higher Management's priorities.

 

The concerned engineers gave technical visual presentations summarizing the performance of the pilot stations and their added value, before the event concluded with honoring all the employees who contributed to the success of this pioneering experiment.
