Tata Power Renewable Signs PPAs with MSEDCL for 350 MW Solar Projects

Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL) has signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) for commissioning two solar power projects which will enable the supply of a total of 350 MW electricity.

These projects comprising 200 MW and 150 MW are located in Maharashtra, and as part of the agreement, TPREL will provide clean and sustainable electricity to MSEDCL and serve to fulfil the renewable energy targets of the state.

The installations are expected to be commissioned by mid-2025, and will reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 4,28,800 tonne and 3,11,200 tonne annually, respectively.

TPREL has tied-up 930 MW with MSEDCL, and 334 MW of this is presently supplied, and 596 MW will be commissioned in the next 12 to18 months.
