ABRAJ Energy Services Receives Multi-Year Workover Units Contract in Oman

ABRAJ Energy Services SAOG (ABRAJ), Oman’s national champion for integrated energy services, has received a notification of award from a major oil and gas operator in Oman for a multi-year contract covering workover units.

The contract is expected to be material in value and will comprise a mix of existing and new assets. The award is expected to be financed over the coming weeks, with further details including the customer, contract value, expected start date, duration and other commercial terms to be announced following contract signature.

Under the agreement, ABRAJ will provide workover unit services to support well intervention and related upstream oil and gas operations in Oman. The contract will utilize the company’s integrated well services capabilities and operational fleet to support the development and maintenance of energy assets.

The award strengthens ABRAJ’s position as a leading onshore drilling and integrated energy services provider in Oman, while expanding its portfolio of long-term contracts with major oil and gas operators.

ABRAJ operates a fleet comprising 27 drilling rigs and five workover rigs, supported by hydraulic fracturing, cementing and other integrated well services capabilities. The company provides localized energy services across the full well lifecycle, combining its operational expertise and modern equipment fleet to support complex upstream projects.

The latest award is aligned with Oman’s Vision 2040 and In-Country Value (ICV) priorities, supporting the localization of the country’s oil and gas services sector, strengthening local supply chains and contributing to the long-term resilience of the energy ecosystem.

ABRAJ said the award further demonstrates its ability to deliver integrated drilling and well services while supporting the development of strategic energy assets in Oman and strengthening its position as a leading national energy services company.

The company continues to pursue growth opportunities across the region, leveraging its operational capabilities, localized workforce and integrated service offering to expand its presence in the energy services market.
