Juniper Commissions Full 103 MWp Solar Capacity of Wardha Hybrid Project

Juniper Green Energy has announced the successful commissioning of an additional 43 MWp at its power project site in Wardha, Maharashtra, completing the entire 103 MWp solar component of its 129 MWp hybrid power project.

The solar power is supplied to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) through Juniper’s subsidiary, Juniper Green Power Five, according to a company statement. The solar capacity was brought online in two phases — 59.55 MWp commissioned on 06 June, 2025, and the remaining 43 MWp on 14 July, 2025 — achieving full solar capacity within just eight months of signing the power purchase agreement (PPA).

The project has been commissioned nearly 16 months ahead of its scheduled date of 17 November 2026, marking a major milestone in early execution. Juniper Green Energy is an independent renewable energy producer in India, focused on utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects development, construction, and operations.
