UMPESL Bags Rs 1770 cr-Order in Power Distribution and Solar Projects

Universal MEP Projects & Engineering Services (UMPESL), has bagged multiple supply installation testing and commissioning (SITC) project orders worth Rs 1,770 crore in its electrical power distribution business for FY23, which also includes a solar power project.

 

These orders are diversified across 26 districts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, and Karnataka, and is expected to benefit more than 46 million citizens.

 

UMPESL will be executing the contracts to ensure affordable power supply to consumers and households, along with bolstering job creation and economic growth in these regions. Its technical expertise in the power distribution sector will support the Government of India’s mission of providing reliable and cost-effective power solutions towards last-mile electrification in remote areas.

 

UMPESL is a 100 percent subsidiary of Voltas, and seeks to offer high quality, reliable and sustainable energy solutions in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP)/ heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) projects, mining and construction equipment (M&CE), as well as business and textile machinery businesses.
