USTDA to Partner with Eight States in India to Advance Clean Energy Agenda

U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has launched the Interstate Clean Energy Procurement Program (ICEPP) in India to support state-level clean energy projects.

To advance the agenda, USTDA will partner with eight states in India through targeted training offered to public procurement officials on practices and policies based on best value and lifecycle cost analysis.

These states are namely, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.

ICEPP is funded by USTDA through its Global Procurement Initiative (GPI) wherein the latter supports partner countries in building smart and sustainable infrastructure by providing access to long-lasting technologies, and collaborates with multilateral development banks and government entities.
