NTPC Commissions 50 MW of Nokhra Solar PV Project at Bikaner

NTPC Green Energy has successfully commissioned the fourth part capacity of 50 MW of 300 MW Nokhra Solar PV project at Bikaner, Rajasthan, with effect from 1 April, 2023.

The total capacity declared for commercial operation of the project is now 250 MW. The first (100 MW) and second part capacity (50 MW) were declared on commercial operation from 20 December, 2022 and 30 December, 2022, while the third part capacity (50 MW) of the project was declared on 16 February, 2023.

With this, the installed and commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy will reach 2,661 MW, and the group installed and commercial capacity altogether will increase to 71,644 MW.

NTPC Green Energy is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC.
