Adani Group Plans to Invest Rs 5,700 cr to Expand Power Distribution in Mumbai

The Adani Group plans to invest Rs 5,700 crore over the next five years to expand its power distribution coverage in Western Maharashtra.

 

Two of the group companies - Adani Electricity Navi Mumbai (AENM) and Adani Transmission, have applied for clearances from the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission to set up distribution network in Navi Mumbai, Kharghar, Panvel, and Thane districts.

 

The group is also constructing the Rs 15,000-crore Navi Mumbai International Airport in Maharashtra.
