Petrotec Wins Contract to Supply Advanced Column Internals in Qatar

Petrotec’s Process & Chemicals Department has secured a multi-million-dollar contract for the supply of advanced column internals for a critical process column retrofit project in Qatar’s energy sector.

The contract was awarded by a leading energy-sector end user in Qatar and covers the supply of advanced process column internals as part of a major retrofit program aimed at enhancing the performance and efficiency of existing process facilities.

Under the contract, Petrotec will leverage its Process & Chemicals expertise and technology partnership with Koch-Glitsch to provide advanced column internals technology designed to optimize process operations and deliver improved performance across the asset lifecycle.

The scope of work includes the supply of advanced internals for process column retrofitting, utilizing the latest generation of column internals technology to support improved mass transfer efficiency and enhanced process performance.

The project is expected to deliver several operational and environmental benefits, including:

§ Increasing process throughput and improving operational reliability
