Worley Secures Long-Term PMC Contract from Saudi Aramco

Aramco has awarded Worley a five-year Project Management Consultancy (PMC) framework agreement as part of a pool of 11 contractors to support the delivery of major capital projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The long-term agreement forms part of Aramco’s extensive capital investment program, one of the world’s largest project portfolios, and is intended to support the development of critical infrastructure across the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. The framework will contribute to maintaining reliable energy supplies for both domestic and international markets.

Under the agreement, Worley will provide a comprehensive range of project management consultancy services, including project development studies, engineering and design, detailed engineering, procurement support, project and construction management, and specialized technical advisory services for Aramco’s capital projects.

The company will execute the services through its offices in Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, supported by its Global Integrated Delivery (GID) network. The agreement also includes initiatives to develop local capabilities by supporting the training and advancement of Saudi talent in line with the Kingdom’s localization objectives.

As part of the framework, Worley will deploy advanced digital technologies to enhance project delivery, including artificial intelligence (AI), digital twins, augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), robotics, automation, digital scanning, and smart energy solutions, while ensuring compliance with Aramco’s engineering and information security standards.

Chris Ashton, Chief Executive Officer of Worley, said the agreement reinforces the company’s long-standing relationship with Aramco spanning more than five decades and reflects its capability to deliver integrated engineering and project management services across large-scale global portfolios.

The award further strengthens Worley’s presence in Saudi Arabia and supports the Kingdom’s ongoing investments in strategic energy infrastructure, industrial expansion, and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
