Transformers and Rectifiers Wins Rs 114-cr Order from RRVPNL

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) has secured orders of Rs 114 crore from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (RRVPNL). Under the terms of order, TRIL will make power transformers of 50 MVA, 132/33 KV. Additionally, the delivery of transformers is expected by the next financial year.

 

Last month, the company had received a Rs 91-crore order from SPIL.

 

TRIL specializes in high voltage transformers and related equipment, such as power, and rectifier transformers. Notably, TRIL achieved major milestones such as manufacturing the world’s first 420 kV ester fluid-filled shunt reactor. TRIL’s products cater to power transmission and distribution, as well as various industrial applications.

 

Transformers and Rectifiers India operates three manufacturing units in Gujarat, with a total installed capacity of 37,200 MVA. With a focus on RE, the company is expanding its production capacity by 12,000 MVA, which is expected to be operational by Q3/Y25.
