Epic Energy Signs Agreement to Set up 35 MWp Solar Park in Maharashtra

Epic Energy (Epic) a player in the Solar EPC market, has entered into an agreement with Niva Ecotech to set up a 35 MWp (25 MW) solar park in Solapur, Maharashtra. Epic Renewable Projects is a 100 percent subsidiary established by Epic Energy for the purpose of setting up solar parks in India.

 

For this, several sites in and around Solapur have been identified, and the company is in advanced talks with corporates to set up solar energy plants for them under the group captive open access system at the proposed park. The partnership will thus help to expand India’s solar energy footprint.

 

Epic is an energy service company recognized as an ESCO by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India.
