RMC Green Energy Gets Approval for 50 MW RE Park in Rajasthan

RMC Green Energy, a subsidiary of RMC Switchgears, has been granted nod from the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation to set up a 50 MW Renewable Energy (RE) Park in Rajasthan.

Under the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Policy 2023, this milestone solidifies the parent company's entry into the Solar Park business, as a renewable independent power producer (IPP). RMC is actively pursuing additional projects exceeding 600 MWp to achieve the goal of securing one GWp in EPC contracts over the next 18 months.

RMC's efforts in the renewable sector are aligned with India's goal of achieving 450 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. This approval marks a pivotal step as it transitions into an RE company.

The company's expansion into solar projects helps reduce carbon emissions, and create employment, thereby positioning India as a global leader in renewable energy technologies. Solar plants as IPPs and EPC contracts for solar is the company's primary focus.

By collaborating with installation and commissioning experts across multiple states and leveraging in-house team of skilled designers and supervisors. RMC is positioning itself at the forefront of the green energy revolution.
