Gruner Renewable Energy to Set up Asia’s Largest CBG Plant in Gujarat

Gruner Renewable Energy announced plans to build a CBG plant to process 1 million tonnes a year, making it the largest in Asia, located in Gujarat and requires an investment of Rs 2.20 billion.

 

Partnership with a major conglomerate is expected to develop more than 16,000 tonnes of biogas in a year. This location of the plant in Navsari presents India’s renewable energy plans from the right perspective. Gujarat finds itself in a growing interest in green energy that is in concordance with national trends.

 

Primarily, the CBG plant plays an exceptionally significant role in the Indian rural economy, where employment is created and locals benefit. On feedstock selection and plant location strategy, Gruner embraces the sustainable provision of biogas with consideration of various environmental aspects.
