Enfinity Global to Develop 1.2 GW Solar, Wind Projects

Enfinity Global has secured a USD 135 million financing deal with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) to develop and build 1.2 GW of solar and wind projects across five states in India. These projects spread across Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, are in advanced stages of development, and are expected to be commissioned between 2025 and 2026.

The projects would generate 2.4 GWh of electricity annually, with the capability to power over two million homes and reduce carbon emissions by about 2.6 million tonne every year. Enfinity Global in partnership with CPP Investments aims to bring clean energy to power India’s future. Renewable energy could be as a key driver of competitiveness, and solar and wind power are segments where India offers a strong pipeline for such opportunities.

Enfinity Global’s commitment to India’s renewable energy sector is reinforced through a portfolio of 240 MW solar plants and over 1.5 GW under development.
