Waaree Wins Contract from Mahindra to Supply 280 MW Solar Modules

Waaree Energies (WEL) has secured a contract from Mahindra Susten, a renewable independent power producer (IPP), to supply 280 MW of solar modules.

 

In this regard, both the companies have signed an agreement. Under this contract, the company will provide Mahindra with its AHNAY Series, Bi-55 545Wp modules, recognized for their bifacial glass-to-glass design and a 30-year output performance warranty. The delivery of these modules is scheduled for the third quarter of FY 2025.

 

This collaboration marks a pivotal step in WEL and Mahindra's commitment towards bolstering India's renewable energy infrastructure. By securing this project, the company demonstrated its production capability as well as the potential to meet delivery deadlines and provide high-quality products. Mahindra Susten is currently developing about 1.4 gigawatts of projects as an IPP.
