Skipper, leading manufacturers for power transmission and distribution (T&D) structures, has bagged a work order worth Rs 737 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL).
Under the contract, the company will be responsible for design, supplying and construction of a cutting-edge 765 kV transmission line for the central public sector undertaking (PSU).
By securing orders from PGCIL, Skipper has bolstered its order book in the T&D landscape with a year-to-date (YTD) order intake surpassing Rs 3,900 crore. The order bidding pipeline also remains robust, with a substantial international pipeline of Rs 9,830 crore and a domestic pipeline of Rs 5,200 crore.
Skipper's market reach spans across 40+ countries around the globe from South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South and South-east Asia and Australia. It manufactures wide range of premium quality pipes and fittings, which are used in different areas such as Plumbing, Sewage, Agriculture and Borewell sectors.
