KOC Hosts Joint Meeting on the GCC Interconnection Project

As part of the completion of the interconnection project between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Kuwait Oil Company hosted a joint meeting to discuss the latest developments in the project's implementation and overcome all obstacles. The meeting took place in the VIP hall at the Ahmed Al-Jaber Oil and Gas Exhibition in Ahmadi.

 

The Acting Manager of the Public Relations and Information Group, Ms. Bodoor Omar, several Team Leaders, concerned specialists from the company, representatives from the Ministry of Electricity and Water and Renewable Energy as well as the Gulf Cooperation Council Electrical Interconnection Authority attended the meeting.

 

Ms. Bodoor Omar opened the meeting with a welcoming statement, expressing readiness of the company to cooperate with all relevant parties and entities to complete the project and overcome any obstacles. The attendees then discussed the latest updates on the implementation of the interconnection project, delving into various details related to the project's path and its impact on the company's assets within the territory of Kuwait, as well as ways to find solutions to any obstacles that may arise during the implementation. The company's representatives expressed their willingness to discuss any proposals that would contribute to accelerating the project's pace in line with the company's procedures.

 

The guests were also given a tour of the exhibition, where they were acquainted with the history of the oil and gas industry in Kuwait.
