UAE Studies Plans to Expand Fujairah Refinery Project

The United Arab Emirates is studying plans to expand the Fujairah oil refinery project up to 400,000 barrels per day, the UAE Energy Minister said on Monday.

 

The current planned level of the refinery was 200,000 barrels per day, Suhail bin Mohammed al-Mazroui told reporters, adding that the expansion was being studied as part of the merger between Abu Dhabi government-owned International Petroleum Investment Company and Mubadala Development Co.
