Iraq's June Oil Exports fall to 2.8 mn bpd

Iraq's oil exports in June fell to 2.8 million barrels per day (bpd) from 3.21 million bpd in May, said the oil ministry.

 

Exports from its southern Basra terminals totaled 2.7 million bpd.

 

Iraq's June revenue from oil, its main source of income, stood at $2.86 billion with an average price per barrel of $33.90.

 

OPEC's second-largest producer of crude faces an economic crisis due to falling oil prices and an agreement to cut production by more than 1 million bpd.
