Kuwait CAPT Reviews $45.5mn Contract Award for 10 Fuel Stations in Mutlaa City

Kuwait's Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) is reviewing a proposed KWD 13.978 million ($45.5 million) contract award for the construction of 10 fuel stations in Mutlaa City for Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).

The agency's board has deferred a decision on the proposed award to a future meeting for further evaluation.

The contract covers the construction, supply, installation, completion and operation of the 10 fuel stations.

The proposed award is to First Group General Trading and Contracting, which submitted the lowest bid.

The revised contract value of KWD 13.978 million is slightly below the previously proposed KWD 13.988 million, a 0.07 percent reduction.

The award remains subject to completion of the required procedures and price evaluation.
