IOC to Continue Operations at Critical Facilities Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), the country’s largest fuel retailer, plans to implement work-from-home at non-critical locations on alternative days and will continue to operate critical functions for uninterrupted supply of fuels across the country, the company said in a statement. "In view of the exceptional situation arising in the country out of the spread of COVID-19, IndianOil has implemented Work-from-Home at non-critical locations with staggered work hours and working on alternative days," it said.

The retailer added that adequate staff will be deployed for critical operations in order to avoid any interruption in fuel supplies.

It has reduced aviation fuel prices with effect from yesterday in line with international prices of the product and will now revise these prices every fortnight as against the current practice of monthly revisions. The refiner said that all of its refineries remain unaffected and have been operating at 100 per cent capacity since the last one week, and the upliftment of finished products remains normal with upcountry bulk storage locations building up their stocks.
