Kuwait's oil minister is appointed as acting minister of electricity and water following the resignation of the newly appointed minister Mohammed Bushehri.
Bushehri resigned only few weeks after officially assuming his duties in the newly formed ministry, after the Kuwaiti Court of Cessation found him guilty of leaking official documents from the ministry, according to local newspapers.
In December, Kuwait formed a new government a month after the former cabinet quit due to a row between members of the family and parliament.
Khaled al Fadhel retained his post as oil minister of the OPEC oil producer country in the government.
