Dubai’s Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, has launched mobile chiller trailers to ensure a 24/7 uninterrupted district cooling service.
Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, said: “This innovative project is part of our relentless efforts to enhance our customer service standards. It also demonstrates our innovative strategy to adopt world’s best technologies and practices implemented in the district cooling industry.”
“Empower has grown rapidly over the last few years to be the world’s largest district cooling services provider. It has reached this point through dedication and commitment to provide a high quality and uninterrupted service to its wide range of customers. This project we launched is a significant step towards realising our commitment,” he added.
This project is one of the many service continuity concepts that Empower has been implementing after successful tests, the CEO said.
“Due to the unprecedented success of this pilot project, Empower made a plan to increase the number of the chiller trailers to be used in cases of network modification, network emergency repair work, temporary service during building finishing and fit-out work as well as temporary plant emergency shutdown,” added bin Shafar.
