Bahrain Tender Board Opens Bids for 15 Projects in Weekly Meeting

Bahrain's Tender Board Council, the independent regulator of government procurement practices in the kingdom, has opened bids for 15 tenders launched by 10 companies during a weekly meeting.

 

The meeting was chaired by Housing Minister Bassim bin Yacub Al Hamar, said a report.

 

The bids included the provision of general construction services for Tatweer Petroleum; the provision of engineering services for Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco); Lawzi PPP housing access roads (issued by the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning and funded by the Saudi Fund for Development); support and maintenance of Airport Modernization Programme ICT Package Systems at Bahrain International Airport; financing the construction of Salmaniya multi-storey car park for Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah); and the construction of Tubli Educational Garden.

 

They also included the bids for air-conditioning of the main Muharraq Municipality building; rental of two advertising sites; supply of skilled manpower for Hawar Power and Water Station at Hawar Island, in addition to those of four tenders issued by EWA’s Central Stores Directorate and two by Gulf Air.

 

Representatives of the entities that issued the tenders and of the bidding companies attended the meeting.
