CEPCO Wins $73.3mn Diriyah Gate 380kV Cable Project

Civil & Electrical Projects Contracting Company (CEPCO), Saudi Arabia announced in a statement that it has been awarded the project by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) for the Construction of Two (2) Double Circuits of Underground Cables to New Diriyah Gate 380kV BSP#9082 Substation.

 

The value of the contract is $73.32 Million (SAR274.97Million). It has been signed by Eng. Mohammad Al Azam, Vice President of CEPCO, as notified by Tendering Manager Eng. Shameer.

 

The scope of work includes complete design, supply and installation of two (2) 380kV cable circuits consisting of 2500 Sq.mm copper conductor, super clean-XLPE cables circuits with all required joining terminations, accessories and associated civil works. Dismantling of 380kV OHTL is part of the contract.

 

The contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new cable work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.

 

Contractor shall achieve final acceptance of the work by 25 Months.
