SunAlpha Energy Commissions 2 MW Solar Plant in Rajasthan

SunAlpha Energy, a Jaipur-based solar firm has commissioned a two MW solar plant in Rajasthan is India’s largest plant under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) scheme.

 

SAP Energy, engaged SunAlpha for a total of five MW projects under this scheme for design, construction and power transmission.

 

The state had decided to install solar plants of 2,600 MW under this scheme in Budget 2019-20

 

Power purchase agreements have been signed with the Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam for a minimum period of 25 years. The nodal agency for the plant execution is Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation.
