Adipec 2021 to be held from November 15 to 18

dmg events, organiser of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (Adipec), with the support of the strategic partner and host, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), has announced that the 2021 edition of Adipec will see a return to a live, in-person format from 15 - 18 November 15 to 18, 2021.

This will be one week later than the original dates of November 8 to 11, 2021 due to the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) overlapping with the original Adipec dateline.

As global economic activity gathers momentum following the shadow of Covid-19, 2021 will be a pivotal year for the oil, gas and energy industry as it doubles down on the challenges and opportunities created by the need to balance supply and demand, long-term energy use growth, decarbonisation and pressures to meet climate change obligations.

Omar Suwaina Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Adipec said: “Adipec 2021 will host a unique gathering of those at the forefront of the post Covid-19 recovery and those who have a responsibility for ensuring the world has access to the energy it needs to deliver a sustainable and prosperous future for everyone".

"Adipec continues to deliver a powerful forum for industry stakeholders and its diverse value chain to display their innovation, launch new products, strike partnerships and conduct the business that will fast track recovery and highlight pathways to a successful future. Adipec 2021 will help drive the practical changes the industry requires, to embrace and ensure future resilience and to deliver long-term, sustainable value," Al Suwaidi added.

The exhibition provides opportunities for buyers and sellers to meet, learn, network and discover new solutions and technologies from over 2,200 exhibiting companies, which includes over 51 NOCs, IOCs and IECs as well as 25 international country pavilions.

The conference programmes provide both strategic and technical insights and knowledge-sharing with more than 100 leading Ministers, CEOs, policy makers and influencers debate and share their insights on the latest developments that shape the industry’s future across the strategic programme, and over 800 technical experts from around the world deliver 115 sessions across 4 days of business-critical knowledge-exchange.

All stakeholder commitments and attendee registrations remain valid and are automatically transferred over to the new dates.
