AG&P to Launch 8 CNG Stations in Jodhpur

AG&P, the global downstream LNG and gas logistics company, launched its first CNG station under its brand AG&P Pratham in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Co-located with the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), this is the first of the seven more CNG stations that AG&P Pratham will roll out in Jodhpur through November and December this year.

AG&P Pratham’s next CNG stations will come up in the following locations: two co-located with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation at Lal Sagar Road and Main Pal Road; one at Salawas; one with IOCL at Mandore; and three with BPCL at Soor Sagar, Saraswati Nagar and Jaljog Circle.

AG&P is planning to expand its network of CNG stations by nine more stations in 2021, of which two stations will be wholly-owned by AG&P Pratham. "We expect to see an increasing and accelerated switch to CNG-fueled vehicles and create a healthier environment for our families,” said an AG&P representative at the inauguration of Jodhpur station.

AG&P Pratham, India, is the City Gas Distribution (CGD) arm of the Singapore-based AG&P Group. It distributes LNG and natural gas to end-customers across the power, industrial, commercial, domestic and transport sectors.

AG&P holds 12 CGD licences awarded by the Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to exclusively provide natural gas for everyday use in 31 districts in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. These CGD networks will roll out over 1,500 new CNG stations.
