The four projects include two first of their kind solar power projects in the region over the two rivulets, N-Choe and Patiala ki Rao at a cost of Rs 13 crore each. The capacity of both the projects will be two MW each. A two MW capacity solar project is to come up on floating water works in Sector 39 at an estimated cost of Rs 12 crore.

Finally, the fourth project of 500 kW will come up at Dhanas Lake at an estimated cost of Rs five crore. The project will also have a fountain. CREST has completed the survey and study for the projects.

The two MW capacity project at the Sector 39 water works will tap evaporating water for public use. It is aimed at saving potable water.
