Al Sharif (Saudi Arabia), KEC International (India) JV has been awarded the contract by Saudi Electricity Company for the construction of 380kV overhead transmission line (OHTL) between Baha and Bisha – Namerah Substation.
The project involves the design and construction of 380kV OHTL to connect the Baha Substation with the network.
Approximate route length of total OHTL route is 180km.
The new OHTL will be installed on latticed steel tower in vertical configuration.
Contractor scope of works includes to perform on lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new OHTL work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 29 months from Contract Signing Date.
