Electricity Department, Goa Issues Tender for Project Management Services

Electricity Department, Goa has floated a tender to select a consultant for project management services under the revamped reforms-linked results-based distribution sector scheme (RDSS) in the state.

The scope of services is to provide the services of the key experts and non-key experts for the specified time period for supporting and assisting DISCOM to carry out the functions of project management agency (PMA). This involves the preparation of action plan and DPR as per the scheme guidelines, and provide assistance and support for bid process management and project management. This includes activities like technical specifications, drawings, of equipment to be installed, civil & electrical design layouts, quality assurance and co-ordination to monitor the supply chain of materials.

The engagement of the consultant under the contract will be for a period of four years from the date of signing of the contract with a provision for annual extension till completion of the project.
