Saudi’s TADCO Explores Solar PV Plant Project to Support its Operations

Tabuk Agricultural Development Co. (TADCO) is exploring a photovoltaic (PV) solar power plant at its Tabuk site to support sustainable operations.

The company signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with 386 Vibrant Solar Solutions Company to establish a general framework for cooperation to study and develop a solar power generation project and its associated electrical infrastructure.

The annual production is expected to be 195,000 megawatt-hours (MWh), TADCO said in a statement to the Saudi stock exchange.

The company has received two study authorizations from the Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority to develop two solar power plants in the Tabuk region for self-consumption, each with a capacity of 25.5 megawatts (MW).
