Inox Solar begins Production at 1.2 GW Solar Module Facility in Gujarat

Inox Clean Energy, a subsidiary of Inox Solar and part of the INOXGFL Group, has commenced production at its state-of-the-art solar module manufacturing facility in Bavla, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The plant, completed within four months, begins with an initial production capacity of 1.2 GW using advanced N-type TOPCon technology and high-efficiency solar cells (M10, G12R, and G12). The fully automated facility manufactures bifacial modules capable of dual-sided power generation, enhancing efficiency and capacity utilization factor (CUF).

Inox plans to scale the Bavla plant up to three GW, and is also developing a 4.8 GW integrated solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Dhenkanal, Odisha. This expansion aims to boost domestic solar manufacturing, reduce reliance on imports, and establish India as a key player in global renewable energy supply chains. Inox Clean Energy also oversees renewable IPP operations under Inox Neo Energies. The move marks a significant step toward achieving India's green energy goals and advancing solar technology deployment.
