Hindustan Power begins 435 MWp Solar Project in Uttar Pradesh

Hindustan Power has begun a 435 MWp solar power project in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, during the Clean Energy Summit 2025. The project, which will supply clean electricity to the state for 25 years, is part of Uttar Pradesh’s goal of reaching 22,000 MW of renewable energy by 2026-27.

The project, awarded by the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited in April 2025, will create new jobs and contribute to sustainable growth in the local community. The initiative is part of the state’s shift towards clean and reliable energy sources.

Ratul Puri, Chairman, Hindustan Power, said, “With the Lalitpur project office now open, our teams are eager to start, and we look forward to working with the local community as we move ahead with this solar initiative. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to delivering reliable, green energy that not only powers homes and businesses but also helps build a cleaner, stronger future for generations to come.”
