Adani Green Boosts RE Operational Capacity to 14.5 GW

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has expanded its total operational renewable energy capacity to 14,528.4 MW with the commissioning of incremental 187.5 MW solar power capacity in Khavda, Gujarat.

The project, developed by Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AGEL, received operational clearance on 21 May, 2025. This latest addition reinforces AGEL’s position as one of the largest renewable energy developers in India and globally.

The Khavda plant is part of AGEL’s broader strategic initiative to accelerate India’s transition toward clean energy and meet its sustainability targets. AGEL continues to contribute significantly to India’s renewable energy capacity, focusing on solar and wind energy infrastructure development across key regions. AGEL’s expanding portfolio of green energy assets reflects its commitment to innovation, scalability, and sustainability in the renewable energy sector.
